What is OracySpace?
OracySpace is an AI-powered platform that helps UK primary school teachers develop students' speaking and oracy skills. Teachers generate differentiated lesson plans, students practise speaking and record themselves, and AI provides friendly, age-appropriate coaching feedback.
Which year groups does it support?
OracySpace is designed for Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 — Years 1 through 6 (ages 5–11). All lesson plans, vocabulary, and feedback are calibrated to the appropriate year group.
Is it aligned to the UK curriculum?
Yes. All materials are aligned to KS1 and KS2 spoken language objectives. Topics span English, History, Geography, Science, and PSHE. We do not claim official endorsement but ensure content matches curriculum expectations.
Do students need an email or password?
No. Students join using a simple 6-digit class code and their first name. There are no student accounts, emails, or passwords — keeping things simple and safe.
How does the AI feedback work?
Students record a speech in the browser. The audio is transcribed and analysed by AI, which returns structured feedback covering strengths, next steps, pace, clarity, vocabulary, and a fun practice mission for next time. Feedback is always encouraging and never judgemental.
Is student data safe?
Absolutely. We store minimal personal information — just a first name and class code. Audio recordings are processed for feedback but not stored by default. Topic moderation ensures students only access age-appropriate content.
Can I try it for free?
Yes. The Free plan gives you 1 class and 5 AI-generated lessons per month with full access to student recording and feedback. No credit card required.
